Seminar: "Exporting 101"

Alabama
State University's College of
Business Administration will
hold an Exporting 101 seminar
June 26, 2008, 8:00am in the
Acadome Banquet Room, as part of
the school's outreach program
under a federal grant.
Scheduled
speakers include George Clarke,
vice president of the
international department of
First Commercial Bank; Benjamin
Jones, regional international
sales manager for FedEx
Services; Hilda Lockhart,
director of the Alabama
Development Office's
international trade division and
Nelda Segarsa, director of the
Birmingham Export Assistance
Center.
Alabama
Automobile Manufacturers
Association will help sponsor
the conference.

Welcome BIE Evaluator to ASU

Students
from the Korea Tour and the
International Case Competition
meet with Dr. Kelly Jett Murphrey. He is Director of the
Center for the Study of Western
Hemispheric Trade in the Mays
College and Graduate School of
Business at Texas A&M
University. He frequently speaks
and consults, nationally and
internationally, on
international trade, exporting,
international business
education, distance education,
and electronic commerce.
Dr.
Murphrey is the external
evaluator for our BIE grant.
