My name is John Rogers. I am 19 years old and I am from
Enterprise,
AL.
I have one brother and he goes to Mercer medical school in Macon, Ga. My
mom teaches fourth grade, And my dad is a preacher, and also a assistant
principal. I grew up in a small town called Samson Al. I lived here
until I was in the fourth grade. My dad wanted to move us from here
because there wasn't a opportunity to succeed. So he moved us to a
bigger town called Enterprise. When I got there I was at the same school
my dad taught at. I stayed here until the fifth grade then I went to a
different school in the sixth grade. During these times I was making all
good grades. I was on the A-B honor roll all the time. The first
time that I missed it was when I got Jr high . Also when I got to
junior high school is when I started playing football. When I started
playing I realized that I liked this sport a whole lot. I was still
playing baseball but I liked football better. In high school I was very active in sports. I
played football, baseball, and track & field. I really had to
buckle down on my grades when I to high school. If I wanted to get into
college I had to have the grades. They weren't like I wanted them to be,
but they were alright. All of my life I have
grown up in the church. I didn't have a choice to because my dad is a
preacher. So I have come from a very Christian background. My
professional goals are to graduate from College with a degree in CIS and
get a job with a major corporation working on computers.
